Privacy policy

According to the Data Protection Ordinance, GDPR, all types of information that can be linked to a person as personal data are included. The personal data we process at LTU Business is in most cases limited to names and contact details for you in your professional role.

At LTU Business, we treat personal data in order to manage our relationship with prospective, current and old customers, partners and others who use our services. We can also use the information to provide relevant information about our offers and promote them. In cases where personal data are processed on our behalf, it is made in accordance with a specific agreement with a confidentiality commitment, either in IT operations cases or in the fact that one of our affiliated partners receives a list of persons who have registered for an event. We do not provide any information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Some of our activities are conducted in the form of projects financed by public funds. In these, we are required to evaluate and report the results of what we do, and that for a long time, but for a maximum of 10 years, we must keep data on which companies and, if applicable, people who have taken part in our efforts.

For some training services, we need to register the social security number to ensure that the certificate of completed education is issued to the correct person. This also means that during the time the data is saved, for a maximum of 10 years, you will be given a new certificate if the old one would occur.

As a legal basis for personal data processing, we use consent or agreement, unless we have legal requirements for processing the data, such as the Accounting Act. In the case of education certificates we have made a balance of interest.

We store personal data from Swedish and international IT providers who, in an agreement, undertake to comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Ordinance.

You are entitled to request information about which tasks we at LTU Business treat about you as a person and to get incorrect information corrected. You are also entitled to withdraw your consent and remove the data if there are no legal barriers to erasing them. Contact us at e-mail personuppgift@ltubusiness.se and we will assist you with this.
